Dawn Williams

DeForest – Dawn Marie Williams, age 54, passed away peacefully at 8:50 pm on Thursday January 14, 2021 at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg.  She was born June 15, 1966 in St. Louis, Missouri to David and Judy (Ream) Williams.

Dawn was a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, friend, teacher, confidant, and all-around little pixie, spreading her magical dust everywhere she went. Dawn is survived by her sons Trevor Leathers and Alec Leathers; grandchildren Owen and Kylee Leathers; her parents Judy and David Williams; and her brothers David, Stephen and Paul Williams. Dawn’s closest friends would say that she made them a better person with her caring advice, compassionate heart, and selfless friendships.

Dawn worked as an Administrative/Executive Assistant for the last several years, most recently for the State of Wisconsin. Dawn also enjoyed being a sales representative for Mary Kay cosmetics, as well as volunteering her free time at St. Olaf in DeForest as an active member of the church community teaching youth classes.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday January 30, 2021 at ST. OLAF CATHOLIC CHURCH, 623 Jefferson St. Deforest with Fr. Kumud Chand presiding.  Visitation for family and friends will be from 10:30 AM until the time of the Mass at the Church on Saturday.
