David Usitalo

MADISON - David Bruce Usitalo, age 70, of Madison, passed away Friday, May 19, 2017 at his home. He was born on September 26, 1946 in Detroit, MI to George and Lea Usitalo.
David was a graduate of Lincoln High School of Manitowoc, Wi, and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from U.W. - Madison. David made Madison his home in 1977 after having lived in many places across the U.S., such as Washington, DC; New York City; Northfield, MA; Seattle, WA; and Denver, CO. He traveled working as a puppeteer and educator. Mr. Usitalo retired in 1999. He enjoyed teaching, theater, camping, and playing the banjo.
Survivors include nephew, Randy (Cheryl) Usitalo, of Cleveland, WI; and niece, Lori (Terry) Scherer, of Two Rivers, WI. Mr. Usitalo was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Gerald.
