David Peterson

December 31, 1963 — March 15, 2012

Catawba -David Paul Peterson, age 48, died unexpectedly on Thurs March 15, 2012 at his home. He was born on December 31, 1963 in Madison to Darvin and Sharon (Lange) Peterson. He graduated from Waunakee High School in 1982. Following graduation, he worked at Stokley Canning Company and Waunakee Alloy. After moving from Waunakee, he relocated to Catawba, WI and was currently working at the Phillips Plastic Company. He was an avid lover of fishing, hunting, bicycle riding, music and relaxing. He was an especially good cook and baker, and his food will be dearly missed.
Survivors include two brothers; Dale of Catawba and Danny (Patty) of Medford and his sister Darlene (Michael) of Dellwood. His nephews and nieces; Michelle, Joshua (Madrie) Stephanie, Stacey, Darin, Cody and Tanita and two great nieces Yvonne and Ella. He is also survived by many beloved aunts , uncles, and cousins; also his step-mother Yvonne; step-brothers Preston, Jon, and Mark Angell and their families.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sharon and Darvin, his brother-in-law Harold Shaw, his sister-in-law Anita and a step-brother Donald.
Friends may call on Thursdat March 22, 2012 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Winn-Cress Funeral Home 5785 Hwy Q Waunakee. A gathering at 6:00 p.m. will follow at the Waun-a-Bowl in Waunakee.

A celebration of David's life will also be held on Saturday March 24, 2012 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Happy Daze in Catawba.
The family would like to express their gratitude for all the thoughts and prayers for David.
