David Otto

Lodi- David Otto, age 65, died on Sat. May 18, 2013 at his home in Lodi. He was born on June 1, 1947 to Donald and Rose (Schmidt) Otto. He married Rosetta Maier on May 29, 1971 at St Barnabas Catholic Church in Mazomanie. Together they farmed the Otto family farm that was established in 1895. Dave truly enjoyed time spent with family and friends. He always was a steward of the earth and was proud of his heritage. Dave served on the Lodi School Board and was a member of the Lodi Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include his wife Rosetta; three children Alan, Pamela and Douglas (Sarah); two grandchildren Audra and Joseph Otto; three sisters Kristi (Edward) O'Brien, Carrie (George) Williams, Mari (Bill) Grossi; one brother John (Sandra) Otto; his mother-in-law Catherine Maier and sister-in-law Nancy Otto and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his two brothers Roger and Dennis and his father-in-law Werner Maier. Funeral service will be held on Thurs. May 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St Patricks Catholic Church 521 Fair St in Lodi. Rev. Francisco Higuera and Rev. Raymond Dischler will con-celebrate the Mass Friends may call at Winn-Cress Funeral Home 5785 Hwy Q Waunakee on Wed. May 22, 2013 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friends may also call at the church on Thurs. from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will take place at 2:00 p.m. at St. Michaels Cemetery in Dane.
