Dave Kessock, age 62, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on April 28. 2016, at the Baylor Heart Hospital in Plano, Texas. He was born July 9, 1953, the youngest child of Adam and Christine Kessock in Pottsville, Pennsylvania. He currently worked as an analyst for SouthWest Airlines. Dave was employed by SouthWest Airlines for over 33 years and was a beloved coworker and employee.
Dave graduated from North Penn High School in Lansdale, Pennsylvania in 1971. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1978. He enjoyed being a member of the Theta Chi Fraternity. His love of travel led him to Dallas, Texas and eventually to SouthWest Airlines. His favorite destination was Australia, where he enjoyed the beaches and people. He was proud that on one trip, he climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Dave loved his dogs, Sydney, Madison and Bently. They were lucky to share his home with him. Dave was also a generous supporter of animal rescue groups.
Dave was a man who made many friends, wherever he went. He never met a stranger. He had a kind heart and brought smiles to everyone. He was a generous funny soul. Friends will miss his apple pies, spinach dip and queso dip. He loved to entertain and hosted many holiday dinners for his friends.
He is survived by his sister, Sandy Reinsel, and his niece, Sarah Reinsel Brucker(Aaron Brucker) and nephew Chris Reinsel (Jenny Reinsel) and 3 grand nieces and nephews, Emily, Jack and Andy Reinsel. He is preceeded in death by his parents, Adam and Christine Kessock and his brother-in-law, Gregory Reinsel.
