David Buchwald

Stoughton- David A. Buchwald, age 53, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2017. He was born in Stoughton on June 24, 1963, the son of Duane and Donna Buchwald. David graduated from Stoughton High School in 1981. He graduated from UW-Whitewater with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics in 1985. On February 1, 1992 David married Anne St. Onge in the Capitol Rotunda. David worked as a Programmer for American Family Insurance for 28 years. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, stock car racing, and watching baseball, especially Home Talent and the Chicago Cubs. David was an avid gardener and enjoyed cooking and canning. He spent his entire life in Stoughton collecting friends. David was loved by all who knew him and is lovingly survived by his wife of 25 years, Anne; son, Joseph; daughter, Bethany; father, Duane; and sister, Jana Ranson. He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna. A Celebration of David's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Cress Funeral Home in Stoughton. Friends may greet the family from 12 noon until the time of services Sunday.
