Madison- David E. Adsit, age 71, passed away on August 25, 2008 at HospiceCare of Fitchburg. Â He was born on June 29, 1937, in Richland County to John and Bessie (Bailey) Adsit. Â He was married to Janice (Boggs) on July 2, 1960 in the Little Brown Church of Nashua, Iowa. Â David worked for Kayser Ford for 40 years, retiring June of 1999. Â Over the years David enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and motorcycling with family and friends. Â He loved Nascar racing and cheering for his favorite driver, Matt Kenseth, # 17. Â He also enjoyed watching the Packer and Brewer games. Â He loved to play euchre and could cheat with the best of them. Â Dave loved to travel and casino-hop with his wife and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Leron and Karen Boggs. Â He enjoyed his grandson Joseph, whom adopted him as his grandpa. Â Also, Dave so much enjoyed all his friends and family's children, as they enjoyed him. Â He will be sadly missed by family, friends, and all the lives he touched. Â Survivors include his wife, Janice of Madison, Wisconsin; two brothers Rollin D. Adsit (Ielene) of Janesville, and John Darwin Adsit (Yuri) of Oceanside, California; and many nieces and nephews and many great friends. Â He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents as well as his mother-in-law and father-in-law. Â Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 30, 2008 at 11:00 am at Cress Funeral Home, 3610 Speedway Road, Madison with a visitation at 10:00 am until the time of service.
