Dave Davies

David Douglas Davies, (Dave) Age 43, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 20, 2014 at his home in Madison, Wisconsin. He was born December 20, 1970 in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

David was a caring individual who was full of the joy and happiness in life. Always available to give a helping hand to whomever was in need. Dave was always willing to share a meal or give his last dollar to help.

David loved hockey and was an avid Badgers and Blackhawks fan. He enjoyed NASCAR racing and football. His biggest enjoyment was spending time with friends and family. He loved to relax and take in the world around him. Dave had an incredible love of music, including his favorite song "What a Wonderful World" by Louie Armstrong.

Dave graduated from McFarland High in 1989 and maintained contact with many friends and classmates over the years. He would always find time for his friends and he cared so deeply for all of them.

He is survived by, his Mother Janis Kriehn (Dave Stanek), Father David (Sue) Davies, Sister Diane (Tony) Larson, Nephew Jack McKee, Sister Jennifer (Adam) Heinle, Uncle Bud (Maxine) Scheuer, Uncle Griff (June) Davies , Aunt Wendy (Robert) Chappelear, Step-Grandparents James (Marilyn) Kriehn, Step-Aunt Debra (Bruce) Smith and many cousins and extended family members. Plus, his dear furry friend and companion Askem.

His maternal grandparents Norbert and May Scheuer, paternal grandparents Madoc and Mary Alice Davies, Aunt Susan Scheuer and Step-Father Jeffery Kriehn preceded him in death.

A celebration of life will be held at Cress Funeral Home in McFarland at 1:00 PM Saturday, July 26, 2014. Visitation will be from 11:00AM until time of services on Saturday.
