Darlene Theis

Sun Prairie - Darlene L. Theis, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Harmony House in Stoughton. She was born on April 22, 1934 in Darlington, Wisconsin the daughter of Clinton and Laura (Larson) Helm. Darlene worked at Central Colony for 35 years. She loved gardening and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Lauretta (Dennis) Kluge, Deborah (Don) Wills, Michael Sperry, and Cathy (Tim Severson) Chadwick; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; a niece, Roseletta (Boyd) Henderson.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Steven Sperry, a great grandson, Ty Goelzer and a brother, Wallace Helm.

Mom, Grandma your love and compassion will be in our hearts forever.

A funeral service will be held at BURKE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 5720 Portage Road, Madison, on Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Margo Martens officiating. Burial will follow at Burke Lutheran Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m.
