MADISON
Darlene G. Luedtke, age 88, of Madison passed away on September 24, 2017, at Agrace HospiceCare. She was born on May 14, 1929 in Omaha, Nebraska, the daughter of James and Irene (Schutte) Garnier.
Darlene graduated from the University of Wisconsin on June 16, 1950, with a degree in Art Education. She married the love of her life, Kenneth L. Luedtke on August 13, 1950, in West Point, NB. Together they moved to Indianapolis, IN where Ken attended Chiropractic College. When they returned to Madison Ken opened Luedtke Chiropractic Clinic on Monroe Street in Madison.
Darlene was active in the WCA Auxiliary as well as leading Girl Scout troops her daughters were in. Darlene loved to travel, making it a priority that her family visit all of the 50 states of
America.
She is survived by her children: Lynn (Michael) Beyler, and Sheri (Doug) Olson; grandchildren: Steve (Jessie) Beyler, Joseph (Jennifer) Beyler, and Hilary (Eryn) Rossa; and great-grandchildren: Ben and Cate Beyler, Jacob, Emma, and Avrie Beyler, and Ashlyn Rossa.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister and husband.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, October 15, 2017, at the Lutheran Church of the Living Christ, 110 N. Gammon Rd. Madison, with Reverend Daniel Kowert officiating.
Mom loved flowers, but if you wish to donate to Agrace HospiceCare, Inc., in her name, she would be greatly honored.
