Darlene Cone

Darlene J. Cone, age 83, went home to God on May 10, 2022. She was born on March 23, 1939, in Milwaukee, WI, daughter to William and Dorothy (Hebert) Inman.

Darlene graduated from Leuzinger High School in California and later obtained her associates degree in business arts. Darlene was a strong and independent lady who gave all her love to her children. She worked at Treasure Island Casino. She enjoyed learning about Native American cultures, playing games and piano. She will be remembered for her resilience and overcoming adversity while she bravely fought against breast cancer.

Darlene is survived by her children Rod (Rhonda) Cone, Janelle (Dale) Wiessinger and Valerie Angell; granddaughter Amy (Adam) Bruner, and Jennifer Angell; great grandson Harrison Bruner; brother William (Marilyn) Inman. She was preceded in death by her son in law Lonn Angell.

Funeral Service will be held at Cress Funeral Home, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
