Daphne Paschkewitz

April 18, 1925 — May 17, 2018

Stoughton- Daphne I. Paschkewitz, age 93, died on May 17, 2018. She was born at Milwaukee on April 18, 1925, the daughter of Elmer G. and Erna Margaret (nee Kreutzer) Krause. During World War II, Daphne built wing assemblies for the Curtiss SB2C dive-bomber used by the US Navy. After the war, she completed training and worked as a commercial artist at Ross International. Daphne married Otto John Paschkewitz on September 21, 1946 and they were married until his death on November 10, 1981. She was a homemaker and member of St Ann's Catholic Church most of her adult life. She is survived by two sons, John J. (Li Hua) Paschkewitz of Arnold, Missouri and Steven Paschkewitz of Madison; three grandchildren, John S. (Catherine) Paschkewitz of McLean, Virginia, Lisa (Santiago) Paschkewitz Cobos of Stilwell, Kansas and Susan (Thomas) Paschkewitz Tsai of Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts; and three great-grandchildren, Aidan and Rylan Cobos and Emily Paschkewitz. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Mary Jo, brother Elmer and sister Joyce. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Stoughton, with Father Randy Budnar officiating. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery.
