Daniel Elmer Ii

Cottage Grove - Daniel R. "Danny" Elmer II, age 48 entered into eternal peace on Tuesday, June 18, 2013. He was born on May 11, 1965 in Rockford, IL, the son of Daniel R. Elmer I and Donna J. Ring. Danny was a life-long Madison resident. He had his own business as a real estate broker specializing in property management. Danny was a proud father and his sons were the most important part of his life. In his spare time, Danny enjoyed almost all outdoor recreational activities, especially motorcycling with Susie.

Danny is survived by his three sons; Connor, Dylan and Austin and their mother, Janis Elmer; his mother, Donna (Robert) Evans of Cottage Grove; his father, Daniel (Merna) Elmer of Neillsville; four sisters, Dana (Jim) Ripp, Suzy (Duane) Gerber, Kathy (Rick) Fleming and Mary (John) McMillan; a brother, William "Butch" (Peggy) Evans & best friends, Jack (Tina) Zavoral, Susie Launder, Renate Vetrano, & Julie Flint. He is also survived by many other loving family and friends. Danny was preceded in death by his best friend and companion; Bandit.
Memorial services will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at 11:00 am. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:00 am until the time of services. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, a memorial education fund is being established in honor of Danny for his sons at Monona State Bank in Cottage Grove. A lite luncheon will be served at the Monona State Bank in Cottage Grove following the burial.
