Dale Tellefson

Much to the sorrow of family and friends Dale K. Tellefson, age 72 of Sun Prairie, passed away on Sunday June 30, 2013 after a short illness at Agrace HospiceCare with Joan and Steve by his side.
He was born on August 13, 1940 in Ft. Atkinson, WI the son of Willard and Hazel (Draeger) Tellefson.
Dale graduated high school from Ft. Atkinson in 1958. He worked for Kayser Ford for 39 years and owned and operated his own D and S body shop. His passion was cars. He was an avid Wisconsin sports fan.
Dale is survived by his life partner Joan Henke, and son Steven (Jennifer Heiden) Tellefson of Freeport Ill, mother Hazel of Whitewater, brother Ronald (Eileen) Tellefson, and sisters Ronda (Lloyd) Christianson, Sheryl (Joe) Rudisi, Wendy Anderson, the family of Willard Rucks and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Mary's Hospital and Agrace HospiceCare for their loving care and support.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 from 3-6:00 pm at Cress Funeral Home, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie. Memorial Services will be held Thursday July 11, 2013 at 11:00 am at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 550 Lincoln Drive, Sun Prairie with a visitation starting at 10:00 am.
