Dale Hallblade

Sun Prairie - Dale Hallblade, age 76, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2017 after a short illness. He was born on October 26, 1940 in Alexandria, Minnesota, to Edward and Marguerite Hallblade.

His family moved to Rockford where Dale spent most of his years growing up.
Dale married Ruth Kempe in Rockford, Illinois on July 31, 1965. He worked for JC Penny at the time and was transferred to Madison in 1971.
Dale enjoyed hunting, golfing, the Packers and Badger basketball and football. He was an active member of Arbor Covenant Church and greatly enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years as well as his three sons; Randy, Michael (Barb), Chad (Carrie), granddaughter; Maya, two brothers; Paul (Faris) and Bruce (Jan), two sisters; Barb (Tim) Hjelm and Kristine Hallblade and his sister-in-law; Marcia (Steve) Larson.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at ARBOR COVENANT CHURCH, 2509 McDivitt Road, Madison, Wisconsin 53713 at 12:00 Noon with Reverend Peter Morris officiating. A visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10:30 am until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Dale to Arbor Covenant Church, 2509 McDivitt Road, Madison, WI 53713.
