Cyrilla M. Wipperfurth

MADISON/MIDDLETON-Cyrilla M. Wipperfurth passed away at home early Saturday, May 10, 2025 at the age of 88. She was born at home in Waunakee on May 31, 1936 the youngest of 11 siblings. The daughter of Carl and Margaret (Schmidt) Marks Sr. Cyrilla was a member of St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Parish in Madison. She spent most of her employment years working for The Department of Health & Social Services- Vital Records, State of WI. She retired at the age of 71 in January 2008. She enjoyed crocheting afghans, crafting in ceramics, bingo, playing euchre with family and friends. In her retirement years she spent time traveling, being with her grandchildren, country music festivals, dinner theater, crossword puzzles, playing the slot machines, serving on the funeral luncheon and offertory counting team at church. She was a longtime fan of the Green Bay Packers and became an owner in 1998. Also enjoyed being a member of the Madison Packer Backers. She is survived by her 3 daughters Roxanne (James) Gray, Rhonda Wipperfurth, Renee (Mark) Schnabel; 2 grandchildren Cody Schnabel and Chaylee (Alan) Pflaum; and many nieces, nephews and friends. A Mass will be held at St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Parish, 602 Everglade Drive, Madison, WI. Visitation will take place at the church from 10AM until 11AM, followed by the Mass, Wednesday, May 28. A luncheon will follow at the church.
