De Forest - Curtis Alan Kvalo, age 50, died on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 in a farming accident. He was born on December 22, 1964. Curt was the 3rd child of Karen (Hahn) Kvalo-Lutz and David Kvalo. He went to Sun Prairie Schools until his father passed away in 1982. At that time Curt stepped in to help his family and started to farm full-time. Curt also went to work at Clack Corp in the late 1980's. He was always working and yet everyone knew if you asked him, Curt would make time for whatever you needed. His nephew Justin and great-nephew Parker had a special place in Curt's heart as they loved to spend time on the farm with "Uncle Curt". Curt died doing what he loved---farming. Quote from unknown author "Life isn't measured by the number of years in your life but by the life in your years." Curt's life was full and he will be missed by many.
He is survived by his mother, Karen (Hahn) Kvalo-Lutz & step-father, John Lutz; aunt, Kristi Hahn; siblings, Craig Kvalo of Sun Prairie, Cathy (Louis) Canales of Rio, Corey (Patti) Kvalo of DeForest, Christy (Johnny) Waldner of DeForest, Charles Kvalo of Boonton NJ, Casey Kvalo of DeForest, Cheri (Andy) Jirovec of Oswego, IL; and many nieces and nephews.
Curt was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leonard & Esther Hahn and Neri & Pearl Kvalo; father, David Kvalo and sister, Candy Kvalo
