Craig Oettel

Stoughton- Craig David Oettel, age 51, went home to be with his Savior on Sunday, February 5, 2017. He was born in Kenosha on July 7, 1965, the son of Larry and Carol Oettel. Craig graduated from Neenah High School in 1983. He attended UW-Stevens Point, and earned his Associates degree in carpentry from MATC. Craig worked many years as a carpenter in the Stevens Point and Madison areas. Most recently he worked for NAFA. On December 31, 1997 Craig married Kathi Napgezek. He loved spending time with his family, being outdoors, wildlife and pets especially his dog Gretta, and cheering the Green Bay Packers. Craig had a passion for music. He was an excellent cook and made great stew. Craig is survived by his wife, Kathi; two children, Christopher and Grace; his parents; sister, Theresa Balke; niece, Elaina; nephew, Liam; and Kathi's parents, sisters and their families. A celebration of Craig's life will be held at 12:30pm on Friday, February 10, 2017 at Cress Funeral Home in Stoughton. Friends may greet the family from 10:30 AM until the time of services Friday.
