Coleen Durst

Coleen Leary Durst, age 65, of Verona/Sun City West, died on March 31, 2022 while visiting her sister in California. Coleen married Michael Durst on Aug. 1, 1998. She held multiple positions at CUNA and American Family over the past 30 years until retiring in 2019.

Coleen is survived by her husband, Michael; step-daughter Jordan(Michael DeCello) Durst; parents, Patrick and Helen Leary; 5 sisters, Margaret “Peggy”( Greg) Walters, Anne (John) Hillier, Jeanne (Keith) Causin, Tracy (Edgar) Johnson, and Rita (LeeShon) Leary-Lewis; 4 brothers, Daniel (Linda), David (Catherine Henderson), Steven (Lori) and Sean (Kerry Hillard); mother-in-law, Joan Miller; sister-in-law, Pam (Gregory) Denner; brother-in-law, Fritz (Sharon) Durst; many nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Matthew.

A Memorial Service/Celebration of Life will be held on Sat., June 11, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Wisdom Monastery, 4200 County Hwy M, Middleton, with a reception to follow in the main dining hall. Coleen will be laid to rest at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family will make memorial contributions to a charity of their choice.
