Clarice J. Elvekrog

Clarice Jeanette Elvekrog, age 97, passed away peacefully at Stoughton Hospital on December 10, 2025.

She was born on September 22, 1928, to William and Estelle Reigle. She married Clarence Schulze and had two daughters: Cathy and Colleen.

In later years she married Melvin Elvekrog and they were together for 30 years.

Clarice is survived by daughters Cathy and Colleen (Tommy); grandchildren Joey (Melissa), C.J. (Andrea), Taylor and Cael; great grandchildren Meghan, Emily (fiancé Joey), and Lilly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters William Jr, Joyce, Robert, Elenore, Elvelyn, Pearl, Gerald and Dorothy. She was the last of nine. Also preceded by her great grandson James Joseph; and son-in-law Jim.

We like to thank Stoughton Hospital for their kind and compassionate care of mom.

A private service will be held for Clarice.

She was feisty to say the least, like the true German she was. She hated losing at Euchre, always blaming everyone of cheating. We will still miss her and love her.
