Claire D. Rathburn, age 84, died Friday, July 30, 2010 in a Madison hospital. Â Claire was born July 1, 1926, in Waunakee, the son of Donald and Wanda ( Taylor) Rathburn. Â Prior to retiring, he spent 50 years working at Waunakee Canning. Â Survivors include 2 sisters: Dollie Birkrem of Deerfield and Sally (Bob) Gnaegy of Kansas City, KS; 1 brother: Bryan Georgeson of Dane, WI; numerous nieces, nephews, Â great nieces and great nephews. Â He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister. Â A private family service will be held at a later date. Winn-Cress Funeral Home 5785 Highway Q Waunakee 849-4513 Â
