Christopher "Sheeps" Johnson

Chris “Sheeps” Johnson, Age 52, of Stoughton, WI, passed away on Friday June 16^th, 2023, at UW Hospital after a short battle of illness. He was born on October 19, 1970, in Fort Atkinson, WI, the son of Deborah Johnson. Chris grew up in Stoughton, WI where he met many lifelong friends that he considered family. He tried many sports but found his love for hockey to be the strongest and played through his childhood and high school. He then went on to play Jr’s in Michigan. His love of hockey was so strong that he gave over 20 years into coaching, most being with the Stoughton Youth Hockey Association. On June 21, 2003, he married the love of his life Doris Demeny. Together they raised 4 beautiful children. He worked in many fields but found as an adult that he wanted to get into computers and went to college at Herzing University. He spent the last 15 years working in that industry.

Chris is survived by his wife, Doris, their children, Justina (Andrew), Jonathan (Abigail), Tyler (Jade), Deven (Svea) and grandson Jaxson “Goose”. Along with his mother, Deborah Johnson-Peabody, Aunt Carole, Aunt Michelle (Rick), Uncle Lann, Cousins Matthew, Jennifer, and Sara and their families along with many friends.  He was proceeded in death by his grandfather Willard Johnson and grandmother Alice Johnson.

In lieu of a funeral we will be holding a celebration of life at the Stoughton VFW on July 1^st, 2023 from 12-4pm. The family would appreciate friends and family to bring pictures with notes on the back or note cards with stories on them so they can go through to see him through your eyes.
