Christine Merucci

Christine A. Merucci, age 70 of Mazomanie, passed away peacefully at home on April 10, 2016 surrounded by her husband and daughter. Chris was born on Aug. 5, 1945, daughter of the late Stanley and Helen Forfinski. She married John Merucci on Sept 18, 1965. Chris graduated in 1963 from Thurston High School. Following graduation, she went on to Virgina Farrel School of Cosmetology and had a great career and was the proud Mother of Marc and Nicole Merucci.

Chris is survived by her husband of 50 years, John; her daughter, Nicole and grandchild, McKenzie and her brother, Lenny Fortune; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins and longtime friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Marc; a brother, Tommy Forfinski; and a sister, Connie Smith.
A family interment will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at St John's Cemetery in Waunakee. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 3700 Harvey Lake Rd, Highland Township, Michigan 48356 at 9:00 a.m. A reception will follow the mass at Fifty Nine West Banquets, 786 W Highland Rd, Highland, Michigan 48357

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to Agrace HospiceCare of Madison.
