Christine Marceil

Christine B. Marceil died unexpectedly on Sunday, June 23rd at University of Wisconsin Hospital, Madison.
She was born May 29, 1948 in Wisconsin Rapids to Harold and Margaret Berg. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1966 and married Christopher Marceil on May 3, 1969 at Saint John's Episcopal Church. She was employed at the First National Bank in Wisconsin Rapids. After she and her husband moved to Sun Prairie in 1979 she worked at the Wisconsin Cheeseman and later at the Pleasant Company.
Surviving are her husband, Christopher Marceil of Sun Prairie, WI, a sister, Judith (Michael) Hofmann, Wisconsin Rapids, two daughters, Amy (William) Kunz of Rio, WI, and Ann (Jeffrey) Dorn of Stone Lake, WI and six grandchildren: Dakota, Ryan, Matthew, Elizabeth, Joshua and Connor. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother, Billy, and infant grandson, Alex.
Chris was extremely dedicated to her grandchildren, was a wonderful cook, an avid walker and a most loving wife, mother and sister. She was a member of Saint Mark's Episcopal Church in Beaver Dam, WI.
Services will be held Saturday, June 29 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Mark's Episcopal Church, 700 East Mill Street, Beaver Dam with visitation at the church one hour prior to the service and a luncheon afterward in the Fireside Room at the church. The Rev. Mary J. Mail will officiate. Interment will occur at a later date at Saint John's Episcopal Church, Wisconsin Rapids. The Cress Funeral Home, Sun Prairie, is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to Saint Mark's Memorial Fund or to a humane society or charity of your choice.
