Charlotte Jensen

Deerfield- Charlotte Marie Jensen, age 100, died on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at Skaalen Home in Stoughton. She was born in Deerfield on Oct. 30, 1913, daughter of Otto and Clara Hartwig. She married Jerome Jensen on Oct. 3, 1935. Charlotte was a life member of Deerfield Lutheran Church and active in Rachel Circle. She enjoyed crocheting for many people. Charlotte is survived by her sons Vernon of Monroe and Rodney (Nancy) of Shawano; 8 grandchildren, Ronald (Katie), Daniel (Joan), Debra, Tamara (Reginald), Todd (Amy), Dale (Melinda), Alan and Benjamin (Anita); 12 great grandchildren, Amy, Brian (Megan), Corin, Jessica, Jamison, Kayla, Cameron, Reese, Kadin, Ashley, Ethan, Emma; and 5 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome in Feb. 1986; son, Donald in July 2000; great grandson, Macklin in July 2009; and brother, Eldon in 2001. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Deerfield Lutheran Church with Rev. Larry Sexe officiating. Friends and relatives are invited to a luncheon, immediately following the services, in the church fellowship hall. Friends may greet the family from 10:00 AM until the time of services on Tuesday. Memorials may be made to Deerfield Lutheran Church or to the charity of ones choice.
