Charlotte Dunigan

Madison: Charlotte C. Dunigan, age 97, passed away Monday, October 19, 2015 at University Woods Oakwood West. She was born February 21, 1918 the daughter of Hugh and Sarah (Masten) Dunigan in Superior, worked in Milwaukee, and lived in Spring Green before moving to Madison. Charlotte proudly served in the US Army during WWII, and later was employed by the IRS assisting individuals with their taxes. She was a devout catholic, and a long time member of St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church where she served in many capacities. Charlotte loved to walk and became well known in the community of Oakwood, and she was known for her quick wit and sense of humor. She is survived by loving nieces and nephews, and their families. Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents and 5 brothers and sisters. There will be a visitation from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at ST THOMAS AQUINAS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 602 Everglade Dr. Madison, WI 53717, followed with a Mass of Christian Burial at 4:00 pm at the church, with full military honors.
