Charles Macintire

Stoughton- Charles C. Macintire "Chuck" age 62 passed on Sunday April 6th 2014 at the VA hospice in Madison WI. He was born on April 2nd, 1953 in Madison, WI and grew up in Hayward, CA the son of Nelson and Inez (Smith) Macintire. He was proceeded in death by his father Nelson L. Macintire, birth mother Mable Quamme, Sister Camilla Caliva, and Brother John Quamme, Grandparents, Orval and Ella Plank, McFarland WI, and Lemuel and Anna Macintire, Oakland Ca. Survivors include his mother, Inez Macintire of Stoughton WI, Daughters, Tanya Britton and Heidi Cohetero of Hayward CA, Son Charles (JR) Macintire of San Lorenzo, Grandchildren, Autumn Britton, Joshua Britton, Celia Cohetero, Daniel Cohetero, and Bradley Macintire, Brothers Orval Quamme of Wausau WI, Dallas Quamme of Madison WI, Thomas Quamme of Waunakee WI, David Macintire of Stoughton WI, Joseph Couglan, Sisters VanEtta Caves of New London, WI, Carol Arnold of Madison, Ella Norlan of Stoughton WI. Charles was a loving caring person who saw every person that crossed his path as an individual and valued them as they presented themselves to him. He cared about other people and animals, that he put their needs before his own. He was an animal lover and was always bringing home the stray to care for. He loved to fish, camping, going for walks in the state parks, vintage 60 British comedies (Monty python, Doctor Who, Red Dwarf). He worked as a truck driver and factory worker for most of his life, he was a Vietnam veteran and served in Vietnam in 1971-72.
A Private family services will be held to celebrate Chuck's life.
