Cecilia Coyle

MADISON- Cecilia "Teed" Coyle, age 88, died on Saturday November 22,, 2014. She was born in Portage, the fifth child of William and Anna (Vesely) Amend. Her schooling included St. Mary's Grade School, Portage High School (1944) and the University of Wisconsin- Madison (1948).
To the marriage of Cecilia and Owen D. Coyle were born Kathryn Ann, known as Casey (Jim) Tracy, Margo Louise, John Arthur, Rita Rose (Marc) DeMeules and Mary Elizabeth (Tom) Alderson. Surviving are beloved grandchildren Lauren, Reid, Henry and Samantha Alderson, and Madeline and Martha DeMeules. Two brothers, John Amend and Larry Amend, and two sisters, Rita Bescup and Barbara Schroeder also survive.
Teed enjoyed playing bridge, knitting, reading and traveling with and meeting new Friendship Force friends.
After retiring from the WI Department of Revenue, Cecilia spent time between Madison, where she was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Parish and Florence, AZ where she was a member of Assumption of The Blessed Virgin Mary Parish.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday November 29, 2014 at BLESSED SACRAMENT CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2115 Rowley Ave. with Fr. Steve Kuhlmann O.P. presiding. A visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Friday November 28, 2014 at Cress Funeral Home, 3610 Speedway Rd., and also from 10:30 AM until the time of the Mass at the church on Saturday.
