Catherine Mytnik

In Loving Memory

Catherine "Auntie" Mytnik, age 101, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014. She was born in Armstrong Creek, Wisconsin, on November 23, 1912.She lived in Chicago, Illinois; Mt. Home, Arkansas; and Sun Prairie, WI. She was married to the love her life, Frank Mytnik, who passed in 1988. Catherine had no children of her own, but was a wonderful "Auntie" to all of her many nieces and nephews, grand and great- grand nieces and nephews, and other friends. Catherine volunteered at various organizations and hospitals for many years and gave generously of her time and talent. She was affectionately teased about being a "go- go "girl, as she prided herself in her travels to every state in the US and parts of Europe. If there was a tour bus leaving, Auntie was on it! She will be remembered for her kind and generous ways, and her unique infectious laugh. We will miss you, Auntie. Love always. A special thank you to the wonderful people at the Sun Prairie Colonial Day Care and Dr. Gregory Motl, who helped with Catherine's care while she lived in Sun Prairie. Also, thanks to the Columbus Rehabilitation and Nursing Home family where Auntie spent her last two years.
