Catherine Alberici

Catherine M. Alberici, age 89, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on Monday, July 16, 2012. She was born on March 11, 1923 to Peter and Anna (Gandolfo) Labbruzzo in her beloved Greenbush neighborhood. Catherine loved to cook, and cooked professionally for many years until her retirement. Catherine is survived by her two daughters, Theresa (Tom) Alberici-Yttri and Anna Alberici; a sister, Stella Gargano; her grand-dogs, Boone, Zeb and Gianna; and her long-term caretaker, Joane McCloskey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert; her daughter, Mary; and her three sisters and two brothers. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Road, Madison. Burial will be held at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
