Casilda Buechner

Martinsville - Casilda V. Buechner, age 94, passed away on Wed, Dec. 7, 2016. She was born on July 29, 1922 to the late Michael and Mary (Hellenbrand) Buechner in the town of Berry. She was a lifelong member of St. Martin Catholic Church in Martinsville. Casilda always had a story to tell of her younger days. Faith, family and friends were very important to her.

Survivors include her 9 nieces and nephews, Robert, Janet, Helen, John, Lousie, Virginia, James, David and Paul.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Anna and George Buechner and sister-in-law, Rosalia Buechner.

Family and friends may visit at St. Martin Catholic Church, 5959 St. Martin Circle, Cross Plains, on Sat. Dec. 10, 2016 from 10:30am until 12 noon. The Mass of Christian
Burial will take place at 12 Noon with Fr. Tait Schroeder presiding. Casilda will be laid to rest at the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Martin Catholic Church or Heartland Country Village Nursing Home.

The family would like to thank all of the wonderful visitors that delivered Casilda her Meals on Wheels, Heartland Country Village Nursing Home, and Home Health United Hospice.
