STOUGHTON – Carrie L. Eggerichs, age 45, of Stoughton, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, following a brain hemorrhage. She was born on April 25, 1980, to Mark and Debbie Eggerichs. She grew up in Stoughton, was active in sports during her years at Stoughton High School and graduated with the Class of 1998.
She was married in 2001, and that marriage later ended in divorce. Throughout her working career, Carrie held positions in Accounts Payable at WPS and the Veterans Administration and also worked with several landscaping companies. Most recently, she was employed at a local restaurant.
Above all else, Carrie’s greatest love was her children. She cherished time fishing with them and found joy in the simple pleasures of life – fishing, her church, sudoku puzzles, playing cards and her ever-growing collection of shoes. Some of her most treasured memories were had while fishing at her Uncle Dave and Dona’s place in northern Minnesota.
Carrie is survived by her children, Daisy, Taylor and Noah, her parents, her sister Rebecca and brother Aaron. She is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents, as well as several aunts and uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. (noon) on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the United Pentecostal Church of Stoughton, 1501 East Main Street, Stoughton, WI 53589 with a funeral service to begin at 12 p.m. (noon). A luncheon will follow the service at Halverson’s Everything Nice, 1965 Barber Drive, Stoughton, WI 53589.
