Caroline J. Ustad, age 91, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at St. Mary's Hospital. She was born on the family farm in Pleasant Springs Township on February 24, 1924, a daughter of John and Kaia ( Johnson) Midthun.

Caroline married John " Toot" Ustad on June 29, 1946. Caroline worked at Stoughton Trailers for many years. She was wonderful cook and was well known for her baked goodies that she enjoyed making for her family and friends. Caroline was a member of the Stoughton Hospital Auxillary.

She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews and she was preceded in death by her husband.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Cress Funeral Home, 206 W. Prospect Street, Stoughton. The Rev. Dick Halom will officiate. The family will greet friends at the funeral home from 12 p.m. until the time of service.

Caroline will be dearly missed by all of her nieces and nephews.
