Carole Briesath

January 6, 1946 — July 17, 2008

LODI-  Carole Reeks Briesath (nee Church) passed away peacefully, July 17, 2008, at home surrounded by her family. Carole was born Jan. 6, 1946 in Owensboro KY, daughter of the late Charles Church and Dottie Baird. Carole was a successful business owner, an avid golfer and she excelled in all her hobbies and interests. Carole was one of a kind in her gracious, caring and loving personality and will be missed by all who knew her, especially her family who loved her dearly.
Carole is survived by her husband Jerry Briesath; daughters Briana (Bill) Goodreau of Lino Lakes, MN, Jana Reeks of Eau Claire, WI and Sara (Ryan) Demien of Lodi, WI; step-son Jerry (Sandra) Briesath, Jr. of Waunakee, WI, and step-daughter Gina (Tom) Cooper of Lake Crystal, MN; grandchildren Claire and Megan Goodreau, Luke, Ben and Jackson Briesath, Lauren, Jacob and Owen Cooper; mother Dottie (Art) Baird of Owensboro, KY; brothers Kenneth (Anna) Church of Owensboro, KY and Steven (Desiree) Church of Lexington, KY; ""sister"" Marti Church; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Charles Church and former husband Randall Reeks.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 21 at 7:00 pm at ST. ALBERT THE GREAT CATHOLIC CHURCH 2420 St. Albert Drive with Msgr. Dan Ganshert officiating. A visitation will be held at the church from 5:00 pm until the time of service. Burial will be the following morning at Sacred Hearts Cemetery in Sun Prairie. The family would like to thank the staff at HospiceCare, Inc. for their wonderful care and support. Memorials in Carole's name may be given to HospiceCare, Inc., 5395 E. Cheryl Parkway, Madison, WI 53711.
