Carol A. Lee

Carol Ann Lee, loving Mother and Grandmother, age 68, of Stoughton passed away peacefully Saturday December 28th, 2024, at Agrace Hospice Care Center in Fitchburg. Carol was born February 4th, 1956, in Madison, WI., the daughter of late Milo and Patricia (Reed) Lee. She spent her young years with her family on dairy farms where she chased and played with as many animals as she could get her hands on. Carol took great pride being the first charter member of the Capitolaires Drum & Bugle Corp as a young woman, where she strived to be the best French hornist and corps member she could be. She always felt that the Capitolaires and the Madison Scouts Drum & Bugle Corps were an extended family to her. Carol then grew to an adult and spent many years married to her former husband Donald Koseck with whom she shares her 2 daughters. Also in those years, Carol enjoyed spending time in her gardens, breeding tropical fish, cuddling furry pets, spending time with friends and helping with her family/grandchildren when she could. Carol was a favorite with the family children being one of the only adults that could get as involved in imaginary play as them. She also had a very strong work ethic, working many jobs in her life to support her family even earning the name “Fish Lady” at the Kohl’s grocery store for always having the most beautiful fish case. Carol is survived by two daughters Angela (Ken) Jansen and Raechel Koseck; three brothers Gary, David (Linda Tuson) and Michael Lee; six grandchildren Mariah Gentz, Damion Moreno, Maxwell Jansen, Alexander Jansen, Brennah Jansen and Donivin Moreno; two nieces Melissa Staudacher, Megan Van Horn and one nephew Ted Hardie-Lee. She was preceded in death by her parents Milo and Patricia (Reed) Lee and sister in-law Lauri Lee. Carol has asked that there be no formal service or viewing however, everyone is invited to pay respects and be present for her final placement at Highland Memorial Gardens in Cottage Grove Wis. Date to be announced very soon.
