Carol A. Churchill, age 81, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday June 29, 2026, at home. She was born on January 22, 1945, in Madison WI, the daughter of Edgar and Luella (Eaton) Raley. On June 29, 1963, Carol was united in marriage to Jerry Churchill in Rio, WI. Together they raised four sons. Timothy (partner Marvin Starns) of Copperas Cove, TX, Mark (Cheryl) of Princeton, MN, Jeffrey of Windsor and Chad (Shannon) of Verona, five grandchildren; Jordan (Amber) of Japan, Logan of Copperas Cove, TX, Samantha (Josh) Wibel of Blaine MN, Seldon of Princeton, MN and Spencer (Jayden) of Verona, three great grandchildren; Autum & Rowan Churchill of Japan, and Greyson Wibel of Blaine MN. Two sisters; Diane (Bob) Makay of Rio, Karla (Dave) Christensen of Mayville, Brothers; Alvin (Shirley) Raley of Rio, Larry (Debra) Raley of Evansville. Carol will be dearly missed by her family. Carol was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Jerome “Jerry”, parents Edgar & Luella Raley, brother Dennis Raley and Sister in Law Barbara Raley, Brother-in-law Frank Churchill. She is also survived by many other loving family and numerous friends.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie, at 1:00 pm. A visitation will be held on Tuesday July 21st, 2026, from 11:00 am until the time of services. A luncheon will follow.
