Brian Malcolmson

Madison - Brian Scott Malcolmson, age 47, passed away at his apartment in Madison on Monday, May 20, 2013. The son of Frederick C. and Ruth A. Malcolmson.
Brian was born in Key West, Florida and grew up in Madison. Class of 85' graduate of Madison West High School, he continued on to acquire associate degrees from MATC in both Marketing and Hospitality Management.
Brian is survived by his Father Frederick, Brother Bruce and (Tina) and their children Ian and Hadley.
Brian was a stage 4 throat and mouth cancer survivor. Although in remission he suffered greatly from the after affects of his radiation treatments.
Brian loved gourmet food and had a passion for cooking. Additional interests included reading, science fiction television including Dr. Who, and Saturday morning cartoons. One of his favorite life experiences was the time that he lived in Hawaii.
A visitation will be held from 11 am to 2pm at the Cress Funeral Home on 3610 Speedway Rd, Madison, on Saturday, June 8, 2013. In lieu of flowers memorials in his name may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
