Brian A. Gast

FITCHBURG – Brian Alan Gast, age 48, passed away on December 24, 2023, at home surrounded by family.  Brian was born on November 6, 1975, to James and Anne Gast.

Brian attended Iowa State University where he studied Hospitality Management.  Brian went on to work as a Training Manager over multiple Domino’s Pizza restaurant stores near the Des Moines, Iowa area. 

Brian was an avid gamer and will be remembered fondly by his family and friends for his love of games.  Brian enjoyed playing tabletop games like Warhammer, 40k, live action role playing, and many massively multiplayer online games.  In addition to gaming Brian loved driving his Tesla.  Brian even had the opportunity to drive an army tank just a few months before he passed away.

Brian will be remembered for all the kindness and humor that he brought to his family and friends.

Brian is survived by his parents, James and Anne Gast of Fitchburg; three brothers, Peter of Sommerville, MA, Jeremy and Daniel both of Fitchburg.

A brief Celebration of Life gathering will be held at the family’s home on January 6, 2024, beginning at 2:00 p.m.
