Brenda Landerud

Brenda K. Landerud, age 62, passed away on January 24, 2015 at Agrace HospiceCare. She was born on April 24, 1952 in Roswell, New Mexico, the daughter of William and Rosa (Williams) Douglas. She married Gary Landerud on August 29, 1971 in Clovis, New Mexico.

Brenda was a proud grandma of two. She retired from Copps Grocery Store in 2013 and dedicated her love and time to watch her grandchildren. Brenda met the love of her life Gary while living in New Mexico. They moved to McFarland area in 1973. She enjoyed traveling with her friends across the United States.
She is survived by her husband Gary, two sons; Brian (Alaina) Landerud, Jason Landerud, two grandchildren; Carter and Lydia, sister; Kathy (Chad) Hess Pueblo, Co., also survived by many brothers and sister in-laws, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday January 28, 2015 at McFarland Lutheran Church, 5529 Marsh Road, McFarland, with Rev. Timothy Dean presiding. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Cress Funeral Home, 5801 Hwy 51, McFarland and additional visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday. Friends and family are invited to a luncheon immediately following the service. Brenda will be laid to rest at the Town of Dunn Burying Grounds following the luncheon.
