Brandon Wilke

Waterloo- Brandon "Dutch" Lee Wilke, age 34, passed peacefully on Thursday, January 28, 2016. He was born in Columbus on July 24, 1981, the son of Larry and Denise (Weber) Wilke. Brandon graduated from Marshall High School in 1999. On August 4, 2007 he married Jody Lund. Brandon was a successful tractor salesman, starting at age 14, and along with his brother, Dustin, co-owned Wilkes Classic Tractors LLC. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing year round. Brandon's greatest passion was spending time with his wife and children. He was a dedicated family man and friend. Brandon left an impact on everyone who had the opportunity to meet him. He will be deeply missed, and is lovingly survived by his wife, Jody; son, Barrett; daughter, Shelby; mother, Denise (Steve) Soldner; father, Larry; siblings, Dustin, Levi, and Haily; grandparents; aunts and uncles; cousins; niece and nephew; many extended relatives, including Jody's family; and numerous friends. Brandon was preceded in death by his grandfathers. A Celebration of Brandon's Life will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Grace Lutheran Church, 501 Skogen Road, Cambridge, with Rev. Holly Slater officiating. Friends may greet the family from 11:00 AM until the time of services Saturday at church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established for Brandon's children.
