Bonnie Studnicka

Bonnie Jo Studnicka, age 68, passed away on Friday March 18, 2016 following a courageous battle with illness. She was surrounded by her family and caring nurses from St. Croix Hospice. Born April 8, 1947, Bonnie married Ernell Gene Studnicka on November 13, 1965. On Good Friday of 1973 she came to know Jesus Christ as her savior. She was an exceptionally kind woman who opened her home to over 100 foster children over the course of many years. She was a daycare provider and found comfort helping those in need. Bonnie was known for her delicious pies, cakes, breads, jellies and exceptional cooking skills. She is survived by her husband, Ernell Gene Studnicka, daughters Sherri Jo, and Teedra Lynn, and son Ernell Joseph. She is also survived by her sisters Mary Mae and Deena, as well as her brothers Jimmy and Delbert. Bonnie had one grandchild, Kyle Joseph Studnicka. She is preceded in death by her parents Mary Irene and Earnie Warren Parish and her brother Earnie Dean. The family extends a very warm thank you to Dr. Heather Peto of the U.W. Hospital, as well as St. Croix Hospice, especially Tonya and Donna who helped to provide comfort to Bonnie in her final hours. There are no services scheduled at this time.
