Bonna A. Robinson (Hatfield) died January 20,2026 after a long illness. She is survived by her three children James (Jane) Robinson, Nancy Robinson (Eugene Washington) and Daniel (Marsha) Robinson. 10 Grandchildren Ian (Alissa) Robinson, Colin (Emma) Robinson, Kelly Robinson (Chase Johnson), Connie Washington (Antonio Colla), Sean (Valerie) Washington, Corey (Brandi) Washington, Keenan Washington (Nicole Morales), Erin Washington (Pete Panagos). Alton and Mason Robinson. She was a great grandma to 11 and soon to be 13.                                     

She was born 10/05/1939 in Port Greville, Nova Scotia Canada. She met Joe in the summers in Nova Scotia and married him there on 11/27/1958 . She moved to NY City for a few years while Joe completed his Bachelors and Masters degrees. They then moved to Madison WI for Joe to attend Graduate School for his PhD. She still came home in the summers and enjoyed her time in Nova Scotia. She had a few jobs as a sales clerk at a clothing store, hair stylest…but loved working as a preschool teacher the most. She loved children and her favorite identity was that of Grandma, or Gigi. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph, Parents Forence (Wilson) and George Hatfield. Three Sisters Fauleen MacQuarrie, Barbara Dibble, Ruth Kelvey and a brother Alden Hatfield. She is survived by two brothers Harold and Glenford Hatfield and two sisters Gloria Reynolds and Linda Allen. 

A Celebration of Bonna's life will be held on Sunday, May 24th at Cress Center, 6021 University Ave. at 4 pm.    The burial will take place at Sunset Memory Gardens on May 24th family only in attendance. 

The family would like to thank all the caregivers for taking such good care of Bonna including Hospice.
