Bobbi Benedict

Janesville/Madison WI. Bobbi Irene (Duda) Benedict passed away at Belmont Nursing Home on Wednesday, January 15, 2014. She was born on September 4, 1923 in Salem, Ohio. After high school, Bobbi married Floyde E. Benedict on July 18, 1951. She worked as an x-ray technician in Miami, FL and Milwaukee, WI while her husband attended the University of Miami and then Marquette Dental School. Bobbi worked in her husband's dental office until they retired together in 1989.
Bobbi enjoyed sewing, being outdoors, gardening, golfing, bowling, horseback riding, and her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, her sister Olga, and her brothers Zeno and Peter. She is survived by her son, Jeff (Michelle) Benedict, her grandchildren, Preston and Nikki, and several family members in the Ohio area.
Special thanks goes out to the staff at Belmont Nursing Home and Agrace Hospice. A private family memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers or memorials, pay a good deed forward. "This is a journey we all must take...bury your sorrows is doing good deeds...miss me and let me go."
