Beverly A. Powell

Beverly Ann Powell, age 72, formerly of Carmel, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2010 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.   She was born in Bloomington, Indiana on March 22, 1938, a daughter of Walter and Cecile (Hornback) Slater.   On March 31, 1957, she was united in marriage to Jack Powell in Indianapolis.   Bev was a wonderful wife, and a loving mother to her children, Cyd-Chere, Matt, and Jode (Lori Lupear).   She was a homemaker, a fabulous cook, and loved life, people and animals.   She will be sorely missed.   A memorial service will be held at a later date.   Special thanks to the good folks at Nazareth House.
