Beverly Olson

Stoughton- Beverly A. Olson, age 86, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018 following a brief illness. She was born in Chicago, IL on December 12, 1931, the daughter of Barney and Selma Dillun. Beverly graduated from Ft. Atkinson High School in 1950. After graduation she worked for the Fort Atkinson school district. On August 18, 1962 she married John W. Olson. Together they purchased the Olson family farm and enjoyed the farm life for 50 plus years. Beverly enjoyed travelling, gardening, music, and outdoor activities. She kept active both physically and mentally. Beverly and John were active members of West Koshkonong Lutheran Church. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, John; three sons, David, Robert (Teresa), and Thomas; two grandchildren, Luke and Annika. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 26, 2018 at Skaalen Home Chapel, 400 N. Morris Street, Stoughton, with Rev. Richard Dowling officiating. Friends and relatives are invited to a luncheon immediately following the services. Burial will take place at West Koshkonong Lutheran Church. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of services at Skaalen. Memorials may be made to West Koshkonong Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
