Beverly Jenkins

Beverly J. Jenkins, age 84, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 17, 2018, at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison. She was born November 11, 1933, in Richland Center, daughter to Leo and Freda (Clark) Barnhart. She was united in marriage to Archie Jenkins on November 22, 1951, in Loyd, Wisconsin. Together they raised 5 children and were married for 60 years.

Beverly lived in Merrimac for 20 years, prior to moving to Sun Prairie. She graduated from Lime Ridge High School and became a loving wife and mother. She cherished her family and friends. Beverly was a fabulous cook and baker. She loved to decorate cakes for family birthdays and weddings. She will be remembered for making the best fried chicken and coconut bars. Beverly also had a passion for the sport of fishing, which she enjoyed with her husband.

Beverly is survived by her five children; daughter Jaleen (Timothy) Foley, son Gary (Becky) Jenkins, daughters Janet (Steve) Gray, Chandra (Greg) Graf and Joylynne (Shawn) Glawe; her ten grandchildren and five great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Archie and brothers Byron and Vivian Barnhart.

Funeral services will be held at Cress Funeral Home, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at 10: 30 am with Timothy Foley officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
Beverly will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
