Madison - Beverly J. Hudson passed away on January 13, 2018 at the age of 92. Bev was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1925. She lived in the Middleton/Madison area for more than 80 years.
Bev was preceded in death by husband, Robert W. Hudson; her brother, Phillip Talty; as well as her son, David P. Hudson. Bev is survived by 5 children, Sheryl A. Ruedebusch, Mary L. (Ken) Redders, Judy (Jose) Hudson-Trujillo, Robert (Ginny), and Dan; a daughter-in-law, Lynn G. Hudson; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Over the years, Bev, The Feisty Irish Woman, enjoyed many hobbies including gardening, painting especially watercolors, and traveling. She loved being Up North in Wisconsin where she got a lot of her inspirations for her Art work.
She exposed her children to nature and the many landscapes of Wisconsin. She loved family holiday gatherings and family vacation's in Central and Northern Wisconsin. Some of her favorite places were around Door County, Fox River Valley, Minocqua, Delafield, Lodi and Spring Green area.
Beverly was an active member of St. Bernard's Parish, she was also a Secular Franciscan for over 32 years. She traveled to Rome and Assisi in 2000 with a local Franciscan group on a pilgrimage.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 19, 2018 at ST. THOMAS AQUINAS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 602 Everglade Drive, Madison with Fr. James Kuhn presiding. A Rosary Service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday at church, with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers or plants, the family requests donations be made to All Saints Memory Care or Agrace Hospice Care.
