Beverly June Geiselman

Beverly J. Geiselman, of Sauk City, Wisconsin and formerly of Highland and Valparaiso, Indiana, died Wednesday, May 24, 2023, after a brief illness and with her family by her side.

 Beverly was born in June of 1936, to Stephen and Mary (Micenko) Bogdan in Hammond, Indiana.  She graduated from Hammond High School and married Herbert Geiselman in 1955.  Bev and Herb resided in Portage, IN, Highland IN, and eventually settled in Valparaiso, IN. Raising her 4 kids was her passion. In 1982, Bev graduated from Indiana University Northwest as a Registered Nurse. She worked in numerous capacities as an RN in IN and FL, eventually retiring from Union Tank as a certified Industrial Nurse. After retirement, she moved to Richland Center, WI and eventually settled in Sauk City, WI.

Bev’s favorite activities when she was younger included long bike rides, hanging out at the beach or pool, and time on the family boat. She enjoyed attending grandkid, great-grandkid and grandniece/nephew school and sporting events. In retirement, daily visits to the local dog park were of great enjoyment. Bev also enjoyed her time with friends studying the bible and participating in weekly prayer meetings.

Beverly is survived by three sons, Glen (Pam) Geiselman, Rich Geiselman and Greg (Rachel) Geiselman; six grandchildren, Glen (Marie) Geiselman, Brian (Kristin) Ball, Amanda Rasnake, Erica Geiselman, Ana Geiselman, and Phillip Geiselman; one brother, Robert (Kathy) Bogdan; one brother-in-law Stan Chmielowiec; great grandchild Jalen Miller, Tyler Geiselman, Lilly Ball and Drew Ball; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

Bev was preceded in death by her parents; Husband, Herbert; daughter, Kathleen McFry; sisters Betty Chmielowiec and Veronica Rigg; brother-in-law Robert Rigg; and grandson David Miles Geiselman. 

A graveside Memorial Service will be held at Graceland Cemetery in Valparaiso, IN at 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 17, 2023, with fellowship afterwards. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be given to American Cancer Society.
