Madison:  Beverly R. Duncan, age 92, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, Dec 16, 2023 at the Waunakee Valley Senior Living Home in Waunakee, WI.  She was born on April 23, 1931, the daughter of Harold and Frances Huntington.  She moved to Madison after graduating from high school where she attended the Madison Business College.  Beverly married Ralph J. Duncan in 1953 after he returned from serving in the U.S. Army.  Starting in the mailroom at MG&E, she worked her way up to the top and eventually became the executive secretary to the CEO and Board of Directors and retired after 31 years of service. 

Beverly and Ralph enjoyed traveling throughout the United States with their bowling team.  Beverly volunteered at the First United Methodist Church in Madison.  She also was involved with the Zonta Club and in her spare time crocheted beautiful table runners and baby blankets. 

Beverly is survived by two sisters; Carol (Jim) Kirkpatrick, and Phyllis Heinrichs, several nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends. 

Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 7, 2024 at 11 am at Cress Funeral Home, 6021 University Ave., Madison 53705.  There will be a visitation for family and friends prior to the service, beginning at 10 am with a luncheon following the service.   Memorials in Beverly’s name may be gifted to the First United Methodist Church, 203 Wisconsin Ave. Madison, WI  53703.
