Beverly Davenport

WAUNAKEE-Beverly J. Davenport, age 86, of Waunakee, passed away at Oak Ridge Living in Windsor on Sunday, May 5, 2019. She was born in Clayton, Wisconsin on February 6, 1933 to Waldo and Irene Brown. She married Douglas Davenport on October 1, 1950.

She enjoyed her years of babysitting and cleaning homes for others. Her interests were going on trips, camping, fishing, gardening and spending time with family. She always had a positive attitude, willingness to help in any way and a great smile. We'll miss her smiles and hugs.

Her love for the Lord was evident through her involvement in Good News Clubs and 5 day clubs in her neighborhood, helping and supporting CEF and being a member of Middleton Baptist Church and DAR. Her favorite verse was Proverbs 3:5 & 6. She is now at peace in heaven with Dad.

Beverly is survived by her 7 children, Cheryl (Steven) Brewer, Douglas (Jody), Sharon (Darryl) LeVoy, Alice (Wayne) Rogers, Betty Goth (John), Jim and Paul; 16 grandchildren; 48 great- grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Ron and Steve; her husband, Doug; and grandson, Wayne Allen.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 10, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Winn-Cress Funeral Home, 5785 Hwy. Q, Waunakee. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services. Burial will take place in Vienna Cemetery.
